Triumphal opening of the exhibition “THE SIGNS OF TIME”

An enthusiastic crowd attended last Friday’s opening of the photography exhibition “The Signs of Time”, curated by Sabrina Zannier with works by Francesco Galifi. Against the unique backdrop of Bepin De Eto’s barrel cellar, marking the winery’s 50th anniversary, the 15 photographs—many on display for the first time—were found by guests to be unexpectedly moving. The large-scale photos, suspended among the barriques, emphasized the poetic language of Francesco Galifi and his subtle and often imperceptible line between the real and the visionary. Sponsored by BeArt Space, a fledgling endeavour born from the idea that “the art of being” means promoting the original relationship between man and nature, the show was inaugurated by an emotional Ettore Ceschin, founder and director of the winery along with his daughters Giuseppina, Cristina and Silvia and their families. Those present included Veneto Regional Council Member Gianpiero Possamai, the Veneto president’s Chef de Cabinet Fabio Gazzabin, Treviso Provincial Council President Leonardo Muraro, Treviso Provincial Council Member Fulvio Pettenà, San Pietro di Feletto Mayor Loris Dalto, Conegliano Mayor Floriano Zambon, and the Veneto regional coordinator of the Città del Vino association. The evening continued in the winery’s spacious hanging garden, where Bepin de Eto wines met the culinary skill of the owner of “da Gigetto” restaurant in Miane, to the delight of all in attendance.

The exhibition will run until June 27:  Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 7 p.m., or by appointment.
